This year's Purdue Motorsports reveal event is bigger than ever! Purdue students will unveil FOUR new custom-built race cars that will compete against other universities this summer. The event is open to the public, and will take place in Loeb Playhouse on Tuesday, April 4. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. with the program starting at 5:30 p.m.

That’s why battery researchers are exploring solid-state batteries, which could be a “game changer” for long-range electric vehicles and electric aviation. Longtime Purdue University administrator, faculty member and Boilermaker alumnus Arvind Raman is the new John A. Edwardson Dean of the College of Engineering. Jong Hyun Choi, professor of mechanical engineering at Purdue University, has been selected to receive a Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Choi will spend several months in Germany, researching DNA engineering.
