"Kudos to Virginia Booth-Womack for her extraordinary leadership and vision for providing underrepresented minority groups exceptional resources, support, and advocacy to succeed in engineering here at Purdue and throughout our nation. As the director of the Purdue MEP and president of NAMEPA, Virginia has tirelessly dedicated her life to an engineering education that is accessible and inclusive of all people." - Anonymous in honor of Women's History Month
"The women in First-Year Engineering Advising are amazing team members and are absolutely phenomenal in the work that they do with our students. It doesn’t matter if it is interacting with students in advising appointments, greeting them as they come through the door, talking with them on the phone, or helping them during STAR or other interactions – the women of FYE are fantastic. Their professionalism is matched by their genuine passion for the job. They are committed to their students and the FYE mission. They are not only colleagues, but have become friends and people we can count on – for anything from answering an advising question to providing us a laugh with their humor. It is truly a joy to work with each of them." More comments From their friends and Colleagues in FYE Advising - Sam, Jeff, Curt, Stephen and Nate
"Kudos to Chanel Beebe for her passionate leadership for diversity and inclusion on the Purdue campus and beyond. Chanel actively engages multiple Purdue communities to move the conversation for diversity and inclusion forward. She takes risks and makes herself vulnerable for the sake of improving the experience for others." - Anonymous in honor of Women's History Month
"Billi Jennings is the Director of First Year Engineering Advising at Purdue, the entry point for all engineering students and where their success begins. She is the reason that so many students accomplish their dreams of becoming a Purdue Engineer! Billi is a woman who leads by example. She displays a tenacious work ethic and is someone who cares about her students and staff. I have learned so much from her. She has become a mentor to me and I appreciate all that she does in advising, managing, supervising and directing First-Year Engineering Advising." - Anonymous in honor of Women's History Month

Alice Pawley inspires me with how she keeps her values at the front of who she is as a professor, colleague, mentor, and friend. Anonymous
Nichole Ramirez inspires me with all she is doing to destigmatize mental health issues and create a supportive environment for mental wellness even while she's working on her dissertation. Anonymous
I am inspired by Michele Strutz and the care and accountability she shows to a TREMENDOUS number of first year students in her ENGR 132 courses. Anonymous
Coming to Purdue was an overwhelming experience for me. I initially thought I could handle all of it on my own but I was wrong. It was at that time Laurie Snyder really helped me. Going to her office always feels nice because she's always welcoming me with a huge smile and I can affirm that our meetings help me get through the week, as she would really make me feel good about myself. She even went out of her way to provide me the best assistance for various programs that Purdue. I'd just like to say that I owe Laurie a lot for helping me settle in and guide me to a successful first year at Purdue. Romir Agarwal, First-Year Engineering Student
