Being a Boiler opened up many doors for me. It gave me access to the best alumni network who have helped me grow professionally as well as personally. Purdue has provided me the platform and education to be successful at my current role.
Why did you choose to study electrical and computer engineering?
I dreamt of becoming a renowned doctor. I wanted to find positive ways to change lives. Growing up I was rarely apprehensive, however; the low forgiveness between life and death had me searching for another career.
I found that a career in engineering lets me experiment with various solutions.
Favorite Purdue ECE class or experience:
My favorite ECE class was Senior Design, since this class was the congruence of everything i learnt in my engineering life.
What organizations or activities were you involved in at Purdue? What did you gain from that involvement?
I was a member of the Salsa Club, HKN, ICMAP, and IGRASP. Through these organizations I gained long lasting friendships and an holistic understanding of cultures.
What are you doing currently?
I am the Lead Automotive Quality and Reliability Engineer a.k.a Ms Clean of Autonomous Products, for the largest Si Manufacture in United states. In my day to day life, I research on customer expectations, investigate stresses that can provide a reliable automotive product and also provide solutions to radiation induced errors.
What are your ultimate career goals?
Ultimate Career goals- my goals are always short term since I don’t like limiting myself to new opportunities. However one of my many goals is to start an organization that would benefit elderly.
How is your Purdue degree helping you achieve your goals?

What advice do you have for current ECE students?
My advice for current ECE students is to do your best and forget about the rest. If you like to travel, do it now. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Your free time will become sparse as you grow in your career.
What do you do in your free time?
In my free time, I paint and do aerial acrobatics. Basically if I am not at work, you'll find me in my studio wrapped in silks or immersed in paint - This is my resilience as it forces me to disconnect.
