Professor Anand Raghunathan has been selected to receive the 2017 Distinguished Alumnus Award from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. The Distinguished Alumnus Awards are presented by the Institute to around ten alumni each year under the categories of Academic Excellence, Technology Innovation Excellence, Managerial Excellence, Entrepreneurial Excellence, and Excellence in Other Walks of Life. Since the inception of the awards in 1996, 135 alumni have been selected for the award.
