At the 2017 annual ECE Department Heads Association (ECEDHA) meeting, the Purdue (beta) chapter of HKN was once again recognized with the annual Outstanding Chapter Award.  The beta chapter has been honored continuously with this recognition since 1976.  The latest award was presented to Professor Balakrishnan, Head of ECE, on March 21 at the 2017 ECEDHA meeting in Florida.  Sutton Hathorn, HKN President, formally received the award on behalf of the beta chapter at the ECE faculty meeting on March 24.
