Graduate Student I-Fan Lin has won 3rd Place in the 2014 Rice Business Plan Competition with a $7,500 cash award and a $15,000 Novak Druce Innovation investment prize.

The 2014 Rice Business Plan Competition was held April 10-12. I-Fan Lin, who graduated from National Taiwan University, is now a PhD student working with Professor Mark Bell. I-Fan's team, EcoBreeze, is a company based on researching and commercializing innovative, powerful and green cooling technology for customers in the ICT/LED field. Among 42 selected teams, EcoBreeze passed the first round and semi-final with their presentation, and then were the top in Flight2 of the semi-finals to get into the final six.
