ECE Students win Student Paper Awards at IEEE IMS 2014

Eric Naglich and Zhengan (Andy) Yang have won the 2nd place and 3rd place awards, respectively, in the student paper competition in the IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2014. This is the premier conference in the RF/Microwave research area and is attended by over 10,000 researchers and industry exhibitors every year. Over 300 student papers submitted in the conference were eligible for the student paper competition.

Z. Yang and D. Peroulis "A 23-35 GHz MEMS Tunable All-Silicon Cavity Filter with Stability Characterization up to 140 Million Cycles"
Eric Naglich earned his PhD at Purdue University in 2013 and was co-advised by Professors Chappell and Peroulis. Dr. Naglich is currently with the Naval Research Laboratory. Zhengan (Andy) Yang is currently a PhD candidate at Purdue University. He is advised by Professor Peroulis.
