Dear ECE Community:

Please see the information below from Sara Carvell concerning travel to Andrew Boldt’s visitation and funeral next Tuesday.  As these arrangements are being made by the Office of the Dean of Students, all questions should be directed to Sara at the email address and phone number given below.  Please note that the deadline to register for travel is Monday, 5pm.

• Buses will arrive between Cary Quad and Ross Ade Stadium 12:00 and depart promptly 12:30 EST. 
• Planned arrival at dinner location in West Bend, WI by 4:30 CST.  Students should bring money for dinner.
• Buses will arrive by 5:30 at the visitation. 
• Buses will depart after funeral mass and arrive back in West Lafayette between approximately 3-4:00 a.m, depending on length of the funeral mass.  Students are encouraged to bring items to make it comfortable for them to sleep on the bus. 
• ODOS will send verified Grief Absence Notifications to instructors for courses they have between 11:30 a.m. on 1/28 and 11:30 a.m. on 1/29  for students who travel to the funeral.
• In order to register, students should email Sara Carvell at scarvell@purdue.edu from their Purdue email address and include the following information:
  • Full Name
  • PUID number
  • Phone number where the student can be reached
  • Name, relationship, and phone number of emergency contact person
• Students must register by 5:00 p.m. on Monday to reserve a seat and must show their PUID to board the bus.
